  • AIRBORNE Most fly Air France via Paris to Rabat.
  •  RABAT Arrival-Dinner in the Medina. Rabat is the capital and one of Morocco’s imperial cities. Our beautiful Riad is situated in the heart of the Medina. It is walking distance to the Oudaya gardens.
  •  FES The city has two Medinas and is a UNESCO world heritage site. It is also one of the world’s largest car-free urban areas.
  • FES The Tannery, the colorful markets with some of Morocco’s most authentic crafts. Situated in the middle of the High and the Middle Atlas Mountains, a place to contrast the hustle and bustle of large cities.
  •  AMELKIS Situated on the foot of the Sahara desert in one of the most beautiful oases of Morocco. A place to contrast the hustle and bustle of large cities.
  •  AMELKIS Walking through the palm trees oasis is one of the highlights of being here!
  •  AMELKIS This beautiful oasis is a perfect location to practice yoga.
  • MERZOUGA Camel ride to the heart of the Sahara and a night in beautiful deluxe tents. We will be isolated under the night skies with surprise entertainment.
  •  MERZOUGA a day of relaxation. Enjoy the Sahara, explore the village or sip wine in front of our pool that overlooks the captivating dunes.
  •  OUARZAZATE This is where Mohamed grew up. We will meet his family and visit their farm. We will have tea with his father who is over 100 years old.

  •  MARRAKECH Morocco derives its name from Marrakesh. Located to the north of the foot hills of the snow-capped Atlas Mountains, Marrakech is the fourth largest city in Morocco and one of its most visited places for its history, culture, and architecture.
  •  ESSAOUIRA A beautiful laid back port city. If you like fish, surfing, or silver jewelry, this is your spot.
  •  ESSAOUIRA Enjoy your day by walking the ramparts. Take a cooking class. Walk the souk with its beautiful wood work, paintings, and jewelry.
  •  MARRAKESH Our tour sadly ends. Departures from Marrakesh.



This will be our 1st music tour through Morocco featuring only native and regional performers.
We will commit to a group as small as 8 people.
This will be a true immersion, each person will have the opportunity to participate or sit back and enjoy the musical entertainment.  We will visit small villages, meet the original Gnawa in Merzouga, dance with the Shikhat from the middle Atlas Mountains, drum with the Ahwach in Mohamed’s hometown of Ouarzazate and line dance (men & women) with the Ahidous in Amelkis, near Errachidia. We will Belly dance in Marrakech and party in Essaouira!
For the musicians, we will play together in the evenings. Lessons may include: Drumming, stringed instruments, the Sentir and Karakebs.
We will focus on the 2 popular rhythms of Morocco, the Chaabi-12/8 and Beldi- 8/8.
Destinations: Rabat, Meknes, Fes, Amelkis, Merzouga, Ouarzazate, Marrakesh, and Essaouira.
